During my recent stay at Real De Don Juan, I appreciated the spacious King Room with a balcony that offered a lovely view of the Cathedral and Palacio de Gobierno. The room was well-decorated, featuring a huge LCD TV with numerous cable channels. Room service was impressively quick and the red chilaquiles with chicken for breakfast were particularly delicious. The restaurant also provided a pleasant dining atmosphere with attentive service, adding to the overall positive experience.

The hotel features a stunning rooftop pool, great for unwinding after a busy day! The bed was incredibly comfy, allowing for a restful night's sleep!

Street noise can be a major issue during the night, especially with church bells ringing on the hour.

I was disappointed by the lack of attention from the front desk staff. They rarely offered a greeting and seemed uninterested in assisting guests. There were issues with noise in the hallways. early in the morning, staff members conversed loudly, disrupting our rest. Cleanliness also seemed to be neglected, especially in the common areas.

Couple getaway perfection

The restaurant had this very nice breakfast! I ordered room service one night and the food was surprisingly good, definitely better than what I expected from a hotel. It felt like a real treat, they even had the local cheese which was fantastic!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but still reasonable enough for what you get.

A Mixed Experience with Highlights

While our stay had its challenges, the dining experience shone brightly. The seafood was excellently prepared, with fantastic salsa and chips. Don’t miss the chocolate pastry for dessert! Just be prepared for inattentive service during breakfast.
